It’s time to feel like yourself again.
Kara Weiland, LCSW, PMH-C
You remember a time when mom guilt, stress, and overwhelm weren't the norm... but those days feel like a distant memory. Don't you wish you had the tools to change that?
You’ve come to the right place.
I’m Kara, and I help women just like you: women who have it within them to achieve life balance, but just need the support to get there.
I help my clients find confidence, fulfillment, and joy by equipping them with the tools they need to be the moms they want to be, while maintaining their sense of self.
Many of today’s solutions for women’s mental health issues are neglecting the true causes of what leads women to feel overwhelmed in the first place, leading so many to feel like they’re not making progress or finding the balance they crave. I know that your circumstances are unique, so every step we take is tailored to your needs and the end results that you are looking for.
Often we will start out by looking at your history and what brought you to this point. Then, we identify ways that you can heal from your past and incorporate balance into your life. Through our work together, you’ll be equipped to be the mom you want to be with a sense of balance and confidence.
I am dedicated to helping women thrive.
My training and certification in maternal and perinatal mental health means I have the expertise you need and deserve when you are working on yourself. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a woman struggling with the transition to motherhood, right?
I get it because as a mom of two, I’ve seen myself how hard it is and how much pressure society places on us to get it right. I know that being a mom can feel like you have to carry all the weight, while feeling like you aren’t getting enough support for yourself. When we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
